D is for Dandelion

D is for Duck
Annie's Alphabet had a whole lot fun during the duck week, here are some of our favorites and be sure to go see her post for more details and ideas.

We love the yellow ducks they made, it looks like a lot of messy fun!

They counted ducklings and put them in number order.

They made duck feet prints using spatulas and forks...plus more fun was had! Check out their duck collages and dot making activity.

D is for Dinosaur
Kristi at Orange Juice did several dinosaur activities, check out her post complete with links to great related printables.

They did a DINO BONE EXCAVATION Sensory Tub Activity
Cost: $1 -Bones
TOOLS: Tub, Dirt (or rice, beans, sand, etc), bones of some sort, shovel
I bought Plaster of Paris to make the bones myself then I realized that I didn't want to take the time or spend the money ($6) so we used "milk bones" instead.
Her son really enjoyed digging for bones!

They also worked on cutting and used the scraps to make a dinosaur. Head on over to see their stuffed dino craft, dino tracks D, and more!

Orange Juice has put together a fantastic theme box for studying D is for Dinosaurs.

Mama Jenn made these paper plate stegosauruses at the end of her dinosaur unit.

Katie's Nesting Spot did several activities centered around dogs and dinosaurs for their Letter D activities.
