Activities with Eggs

Shannon submitted the MOST adorable deviled eggs we've ever seen! She says,
"They were very simple--regular boiled eggs, but sliced in half across the middle (instead of lengthwise). We removed the yolks, mashed them, then mixed them with some mayo. We scooped balls with a melon baller (and Mommy rolled a little bit in her hands) and put them back in the hollowed out egg whites. They are decorated with carrot beaks and two brown jimmies for eyes, but we are going to experiment with other eye shapes this week (cucumber peel, nori & raisin are all on the list)."

You will want to click over and read about how she put the together!

Inspiration Surrounds, Creativity Abounds has put together a post full of egg themed learning activities. You will want to check out the egg shell memory and sound eggs.

Brandy from Adventures of a Flake has put together an egg-cellent post full of suggestions. She features an egg experiement, an egg lacing card, egg color and alphabet matching games. Check it out!

Michelle from A Mommy's Adventures has shared an open ended art mosaic project using eggshells.

Use eggs to learn about color theory and experience texture using Quirky Momma's suggestion for decorating eggs.
