Back to School Breakfast

It is a tradition in our house to have a Back to School Breakfast on the first day of school.  The kids order their favorite breakfast food ahead of time and I do my best to decorate the table and serve them, without being late for the first day of school!

This year's breakfast table was set to follow our school year theme, Hold the World.

Last year's breakfast theme was "Owl Be Thinking About You!" inspired by the paper bag owls I found on Pinterest. 

For 1st Grade I decorated with the book, Pirates Guide to 1st Grade, in mind.

Gavin's 1st year of school we held a "Kindergarten Rock Star" breakfast.

{You may notice in the photos that every year our Celebrate banner and celebrate plate are in the decorations.  The kids are sure to notice if I forget to add them to the table}

Back to School Breakfast has become highly anticipated in our home and helps me focus on something other than the end of summer vacation.
