Bake up Mika's Blue Impossible Pie!

Alicia brought our attention to Kiz Club's file folder game for the color blue.

Vanessa shared a simple activity for sorting colors. Use this activity to highlight whatever color you are currently working on with your preschool age child.



Color Boxes:
Collect small items of various colors from Happy Meals and sort them into separate shoe boxes. Use colored Sharpies to color large circles of every color on a white, vinyl tablecloth from the dollar store.Children can sort objects by color onto the tablecloth.

Child Fun shares three different blue crafts: Blueberry Blue, Blue Necklaces, and Blue Fireworks.

Plan a blue themed day around the classic nursery rhyme Little Boy Blue.

Little boy blue, come blow your horn;
The sheep's in the meadow, the cow's in the corn.

  1. My kids learned the B-L-U-E spells blue song. For a second verse, they sang:

    The big sky is blue.
    The ocean's blue too.
    Hi ho, did you know?
    B-L-U-E spells blue.

    I love that little song. :)
