Summer Activities

Welcome! New to ABC and 123? Please check out our FAQ in the sidebar.

Is school out for the summer for your little one? My son is hanging on for one more day, but boy are we looking forward to the end of our daily routine and the chance to dive into summer fun. Here are a few ideas to get us all started!

Little Wonders' Day is celebrating summer with a bucket list.

Jodi Michelle put together some wonderful Summer 2010 Jars and has shared a step by step on how she put them together, as well as where she found free printables.

With the marshmallows leftover from your smores, perhaps you'd like to try Starr's marshmallow painting activity.

Jodi Michelle also put together some graphically attractive I Spy game board printables. This would be a fantastic game to create new variations of throughout the summer months.

Whimsical Ways put together an amazing foot path game that would be fun to use indoors or out during the summer months.

Spend a rainy summer day building an indoor castle, instead of the traditional sand castle. Thanks to Nurturing the Tender Years for this fun suggestion.

Putting together a mini construction site could entertain a group of children on the back patio for an extended period of time.
