Bilingual Wednesdays- Santa's workshop

With Christmas and Summer break around the corner  I decided to make a special  unit with my niece to review and consolidate the basic skills.
I called it " El taller de Santa" / Santa's workshop.
We read a book about Santa's workshop in the North Pole and talked about how Santa, Mrs Claus and the elves got everything ready for Christmas. They worked hard, so we did.

We reviewed and consolidate numbers recognition using these matching cards.

associate colours using these sorting cards

and matching beginning sounds in the alphabet in Spanish

Then I added some cards to find the shape with a clothespin

And for visual discrimination I made these "What's next?" cards to pattern Santas

and finally we played with a concentration game for visual discrimination.
