Welcome December!
I don't know about your classroom, but in mine December was always the time of year that lesson planning required an extra "oomph!" in order to keep the kids attention. With all the excitement, the extra sugar, and the late night events that December brings it helps to have some out of the ordinary learning activities as well! In the next 2 weeks we will do our best to round up some exciting activities that still sneak in some super skill building.
Today we will look at NATIVITY related printables and projects:
Spell Outloud put together a nativity themed sensory bin.
Spell Outloud put together a nativity themed sensory bin.
Happy Hooligans used colorful beans for their nativity sensory box.
Over the Big Moon linked up to last week's Show and Tell sharing their clever nativity themed packet.
Catholic Icing offers a free DIY toliet paper tube nativity set printable. After putting together the figures they would be perfect for retelling.
My Computer is My Canvas made a simple key for sharing the M&M Nativity Legend. With older children you could use this as a hook for writing their own legends or acrostic poetry.
Confessions of a Homeschooler is a fantastic resource for well thought out thematic activity packets. Erica has a nativity preschool pack available on her site
1+1+1=1 has also created a free nativity download for preschoolers.
Thanks so much for featuring our Nativity Pre-K Pack! We appreciate the support! Have a great weekend!
