Advent Calendars, Part 2

Welcome! New to ABC and 123?
Please check out our FAQ in the left sidebar.

Several readers left links to their posts on advent calendars on our last post, Part 1, so we decided to do a second post to feature all of their great ideas.

Don't forget to link up your Thanksgiving post, you have until next Monday to join our blog hop!

Please plan to join us for your Christmas themed linkies, the schedule is at the top of the page. The first one is THIS THURSDAY, December 3: Favorite Holiday Books and Activities
Karen at Monkeyin' Around is excited to try out something new this year, isn't her tree made out of favor boxes cute? Each box contains an activity for the family to do.
My Bilingual Boys made two simple countdowns, one's a Santa and to find out what the other one is, you have to visit her post☺

Teach Mama shares her family's advent calendar activities.
Our Cozy Little Book Corner, wants everyone to know that she'll be Christmas Book and Activity A Day. She's already started with: Waiting for Christmas by Kathleen Long Bostrom and made a fun advent wreath out of toilet paper rolls and poster board.

Here's what she's got planned for the rest of this week:
Dec 1: Gingerbread baby by Jan Brett
Dec 2: That's not my Santa: his hat is too soft by Fiona Watt
Dec 3: Hide and seek Christmas by Fiona Watt
Dec 4: Christmas Angels by Crystal Bowman
Dec 5: My Christmas Gift by Crystal Bowman
The Activity Mom made this pocket advent calendar out of felt and came up with 25 fun activities to do. She provides her list along with printable cards you can use too!

Raising a Happy Child discusses how they celebrate their holiday's in a secular manner at Mouse Grows, Mouse Learns.
