Bill Martin Jr., I Love Our Earth

Gail Gibbons, Recycle!: A Handbook for Kids

Andrea Alban Gosline, The Happiness Tree: Celebrating the Gifts of Trees We Treasure

Stacy also recently used made beads from old plastic bottles, using this tutorial. What a great way to recycle items into art!

Do you have a project that uses recycled things? If so, we'd love to share them! Leave a link or share you idea in a comment or send them to us as a submission. If we get enough we'll put together a post on using recycled items for education and crafts.
