Ready for some alphabet fun this Friday? Here's a handful of H ideas!




The Home Teacher celebrated the letter H with hashbrowns, hula, hawaiian hype, hammocks, and houses.


Homeschool Creations has a preschool corner post dedicated to the letter H. It is full of helpful ideas. The Butterscotch Haystack recipe looks like a very tasty addition to a week of H!

Michelle from Delightful Learning has a great collection of activities to teach the letter H, Hip, Hip Hooray! Her ideas include: hats, hippos, holes, horse shoes, hand prints, hot dogs, hopping, homes, and a whole lot more.

H is for HOT - Put together a file folder game to practice Hot & Cold.

Sandra has put together a helpful beginning letter sound grid of H pictures, which she used while teaching a unit H is for Home. There is a free downloadable copy on her site.

~Use a clean plastic glove and put candy, popcorn, fruit pieces, or other finger food inside. Make sure you use gloves that have no powder or other chemicals inside.

  4. Love your letter ideas. When I saw the house made for letter "H" it reminded me of Curious George's ABC book. In that book each letter is made into a character/item, just like the house for letter H. Look there for more letter ideas.
